Giveaway is now closed- thankyou!
A giveaway. Up for grabs, Love Quilting Magazine Spring Issue- pretty much sold out and that lovely Medallion Quilt by Alexia Marcelie Abegg (from her book Liberty Love) on the cover may well be a factor in that- full instructions are inside and a quilt along too on Instagram #marcellemedallion #medallionalong plus a flickr group. It is a great mag, lots of lovely patterns, a tiny mention of me, a slightly bigger mention of Lynne, and lots of Katy and Jeni for a start. I picked up an extra copy, you can find them if there are any left at WHSmiths.
My medallion so far...
and if you already have that magazine, you may want an Amy Butler pillow pattern 'Must Have Pullows' plus 1/2 yd of Yoshiko Jinzenji fabric.
In your comment please say which you would prefer magazine or pattern+fabric. 1 comment per person, open anywhere as long as I can contact you- add your email if you are no reply( email (at) gmail dot com sort of thing). And tell me in your comment, what has made you smile, today or anytime. I will pick the winner using random number next Monday. Good luck...

As you know I already have the magazine I'd love the pattern and that fabric is just to die for. Hello, Ms. KerryBerry! Either prize would be fabulous, but I'm really coveting that magazine, especially due to that gorgeous cover quilt. Your medallion is looking lovely, too, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI have seen that gorgeous quilt pop up all over the webb lately. Love all those flying geese. My kids always make me smile but i was looking like the cheshire cat this morning. ReplyDeleteI would absolutely LOVE the magazine. Thank you very much for giving us all the chance to have a copy with your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have an adorable 1 yr old Granddaughter living with us along with her parents temporarily so I laugh and smile with her every single day. She has just figured out in the past few weeks how to walk but is a little unsure yet. So it's just too cute watching her hobble and freeze every once in awhile to catch her balance. She and I do the 'Grandma dance' and have done it since she was just around 3 months old. It is just me sitting and holding her and wiggling my upper body and head back and forth singing 'do the Grandma dance, la la lala lala' and she thinks it's the best thing to watch her giggling and now she stands in her crib or anywhere, even in public and the minute you say "Alexia do the Grandma dance" and she starts wiggling her hips and her head back and forth going la la la. Just adorable.
Magazine. Magazine :D please. Love your medallion so far!
ReplyDeleteWell, first, thank you so much! I would pick the magazine. I was pulling into the grocery store parking lot today, quite irritated, and a woman was about to cross my path on the sidewalk. She stopped and waved me in but I waved her by and smiled at her. Just smiling at her made my whole day better and reminded me that you can indulge yourself in all your crap but it is not going to make a bit of differemce but a smile does!
