Mini break to Oxford
Lots of cooking and eating from this amazing book- we have eaten well this summer
A glorious walk in the sun today picking these and the smell of blackberry and apple crumble for later
Ready for autumn with new projects
Bring on September, my favourite month- my birthday, later summer sun and still warm.
What a lovely blog post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beauty of summer. I happen to be looking for a new vegetarian cookbook - I'll check this out. Take care, Pam
ReplyDeleteSince September follows August, I like it even more.
ReplyDeleteOh, that recipe book looks interesting! I am going to have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI only discovered your blog at the beginning of the summer when starting my first quilt (almost finished!) It is such a joy and inspiration to read. For me, today is the last official day of summer, as I return to work tomorrow, and your photographs were the perfect reminder of summer delights. Perhaps I should go black-berrying as a final activity!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Deborah, what kind comments!
DeleteSeems perfect o me. x
ReplyDeleteLovely Photos! I felt like I was there for a moment. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Why do all cats like to sit on whatever you are doing? Be it sewing, reading or typing, they want to be on the thing.
Yep, I know exactly what you mean!
DeleteIt's always so nice to look back at photos and remember lovely days! Here's to the fall (I'm so looking forward to it) and more lovely day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great summer. I would love to spend summer in England - and winter for that matter!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, there is nothing better than an English summer!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures.

Happy first September to you too!
