Wanties

It is hard not to have a bad case of the wanties.  Some big fabric ranges are just being released and i am itchy to get my hands on some.  I have been looking at Village Haberdashery's Coming Soon section over and over again to plan combinations and see how far I can stretch my new purchases!  I want as many patterns, prints and colours as I can for my pennies.  Top of my list has to be Anna Maria Horner's Field Study.  There is such a mix in this collection, colour, scale, punchy bold pattern and delicate ethereal dreaminess.  It pairs rather beautifully with Chicopee, the new Denyse Schmidt collection.  And I added one other print, the centre orange floral  is Sundress in Tea Party from Ladies' Stitching Club by Liesel Gibson
For an even more dramatic combination, take a look at Field Study with Liberty Lifestyle Bloomsbury Collection and Chicopee.
I already have plans for all of these ranges.  Clothing in Chicopee corduroy, paper piecing tiny things in  Bloomsbury and quilting with Field Study.  They are all rather autumnal but I can welcome that now, the colours looks so folksy warm and inviting!  Annie is offering an early bird offer on the Liberty, find out more here.  I made my collages using Pic Monkey, very handy for testing different ranges together! I am intrigued to hear what your favourite new range is?  I always try not to get suckered in on new real eases, only to find I am still obsessed by a collection months later when it is scarce and I can't find all the prints!

  11. Kerry you are such an enabler so you are. Now I need to buy more stuff from Annie. Hope she doesn't get it in before October/November because I sure can't buy anything before then. I love Anna Maria Horner's Field Study line and the line from The Ladies' Stitching Club. Thanks for that I was going to say NOT but hey I would have seen it sooner or later as I love Annie's taste in fabrics.
