Giveaway and Obsessions

Giveaway time!  Hi to anyone visiting from
Sewmamasew's giveaway day!

Very large FQ of Michael Miller's mending Madness and a FQ of Lakehouse Dry Goods texty garden print.   Nice! So what do you have to do to win these lovelies?  Read on.
I have a very busy brain always whirring and a tendency towards obsession that I like keep in check.  Currently I am obsessed by:
1...the origins of this fabric Elsie's Kitchen by Windham, (now out of print but can be found Etsy/Ebay from time to time)
which led me to buy this hankie from ebay
and this tea towel from etsy, 1970 is my year of birth.
I do have plans for the fabric and the tea towel, they were all bargains and hopefully this print is out of my system.
2...Adele's album 21-
 this song and others had tears running down my face last Saturday making tea even though I have heard it so many times before.
3...And this advert, the music, the roller boots, the clothes, the stretchy, breath taking moves.

    RE last comment - Oooo cherry tea, I have a long-term obsession with cherries themselves so cherry tea sounds amazing! Other than that, I am currently hooked on curling my hair and dates (the dried fruit kind!)

    I wish my latest obsession didn't have calories, but unfortunately the Chocolate Covered Salted Caramel Macadamia Clusters that I picked up at Costco are loaded with them. They're just soooooooooooooo good though.

    My top secret obsession is Take That!!! OMG this crush has been with me since they were here first time round when I was in my late teens, as a 35yr old they have even more appeal!!! Off to see them play this weekend so this may be the last you hear from me Kerry (I still hope for the day Jason will whisk me away!!)

    I'm obsessed with Scandinavian girls at the moment, Nina Kinert, Ane Brun & Agnes Obel I can't get enough of them!
    On a less healthy note I'm obsessed with Haagen Dazs Belgian Chocolate ice cream oh lordy it's good! It's all leggings and dresses for me this summer because my jeans are not going to fit me anymore ;-)

    okay, well.....Mini Lalaloopsy dolls!     I tend to obsess over things too. At the moment I can't get enough of veg seeds - particularly unusual varieties. I'm also reading like mad so it feels like I'm obsessing over every book I want to read and building a mountain of TBR's. If there was a Joann's in this country I suspect I'd be obsessing over getting the new Denyse Schmidt line.

    But sorry I must be the only person on the planet that will scream if another Adele songs comes on the radio. Not sure if she's over exposed or what but she makes me want to cry for completely different reasons lol

    Hey, Kerry! We have the same year of birth...
    My latest obsession are those X and + quilt blocks, but my real obsession is to collect fabrics for them! Wordy fabric would be great! Now I am forcing myself to also sew some of those blocks, instead of only dreaming about fabric combinations for them.

    I have to say that one of my major obsessions at the moment is Blogging! I am also obsessed by The Big Bang theory on TV, and a few months ago I was obsessed by The Killing. I have a massive, long standing obsession with The Beatles. And also Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's radio show (I have been on The Chain!).     Right now I am obsessed with tracking down some of the amazing japanese text-y prints I have been seeing (some from you!). I saw this pouch in the Pretty Little Pouch Swap pool and just HAD to have that calendar print! I finally found it online and now I am waiting on pins and needles to finally get it in my hands :)

    I am also pretty obsessed with Mexican food at the moment. I have been making my own refried beans and pulled pork, and putting cilantro and lime juice on just about everything.

    My latest obsession has been watching entire series on Netflix. I have watched 5 or 6 now. I like that I can watch all the years all together. I am currently watching Scrubs and That Seventies Show. I'll just turn it on and watch 5 or 6 episodes in a row. No comericials, it's great!!

    Yay! What a great haul! :) My current obsession is books from the viewpoint of the Home Front during WWII. British ladies' diaries, fictional accounts written during that era, etc. Some are very very dry humor, stiff-upper-lip, so wonderful. Others are very tear-jerking. Some are hilarious, the diary writers are just flailing around in life and know it and are having a rollicking good time anyway. :) :)
