Go Visit...

There are a few things going on around blogs and websites that you may be interested in so this is a "Go visit... "post!
Kristy at Quiet Play is running a Practically Paper Piecing blog hop to give you ideas on what to do with paper piecing blocks.  There are tutorials, giveaways, linky party and more so if you have orphan paper piecing blocks unused this will be the place for some inspiration- Kristy's picture below can whet your appetite.
Fat Quarterly's latest issue is out with a 'Sew Britainnia' theme.  Ther eare some stunning projects in this issue,  Brioni's Keep Calm and Carry On quilt really caught my eye- she has breathed new life into this maxim.

Charise has two stunning paper piecing patterns out, as well as a pillow project in Fat Quarterly.  Aone is a vintage apron and mixing bowls!  So cute and a  the bpwls are a very straightforward block to make.  FInd out more here and links to her shops.

  3. Great links Kerry! I've just completed Charise's vintage apron cos it was just so darn cute - it was my first ever paper piecing project! I've sent it on to someone so hope to put some pics up in the next few days so as to not ruin the surprise. The bowls may well be next on my list......!!!! x
