GIVEAWAY!

As part of the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day I have made a little linen stacked coins pouch/purse to giveaway.

It has a gentle flex frame and a popper inside to secure it and is big enough for embroidery scissors and a tape measure or whatever you chose to put in it.

To win this purse you need to leave a comment on this post recommending a good read.  The last book I really enjoyed was Lorrie Moore,  'A Gate at the Stairs', I need something new to read that I can put on to my e-reader.  Post your title and any other comment you would like to make, follow me if you like what you see and please make sure I can that there is a way of emailing you on your profile so I can contact you if you are the winner.  Giveaway entries finish at the end of May 20th.  I can ship internationally so open to you all.  Winner will be chosen by random number generator .

Good Luck!

  1. Yay I'm the first commenter! Thanks for giving away such a cute flex frame pouch! I love how you put fabric together- just perfect!!

My favorite book is "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy. It is really addictive and interesting to read but a little too sad. If you don't mind it, I'd recommend the book!

  24. Hi! I am a Kerry too, from Canada. There aren't all that many of us at least spelled this way. For a good read I would like to recommend an oldie but a goodie entitled "Mrs. Mike" by Benedict and Nancy Mars Freedman. It is the story of a girl who moves to the Canadian wilderness in the 1900s and marries a mountie. So, it is a romance, an adventure, a saga... Honestly a very good read! There is a sequel or two written recently but go for the original Mrs. Mike - it is the real winner!
Let me know if you find it and read it - I would love to hear what you think.
So, if you could enter me in the draw that would be great - thank you!
    Hugs,
    Kerry

  157. I love your little linen pouch. :) It's fantastic.

I've been reading Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts. (Teehee--It's about US women.) I don't usually like much nonfiction, but I love this book. :) I also love anything by Edith Wharton, Susan Cooper's YA stuff, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, and A Girl Named Zippy.
